The Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) is one of the highlights of every student’s educational journey in a secondary school or junior college.
Be it in sports, uniformed groups or performing arts, they go through an “assessment” for performing arts and “competition” for sports and uniformed groups where the former are recognised by certificates of distinction, commendation and accomplishment while champions are recognised for the latter.
For our young readers, here are the required pieces for the Concert Band category for both “Secondary School” and “Junior College / Centralized Institutes” levels through the decades. As for the others, those were the days!
Share with us your stories and moments through these years.
