Featuring musicians from the Purple Symphony, NAFA Wind Ensemble and NAFA alumni, Relatively Mozart is a collaborative concert presenting three compositions from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Three musicians from the Purple Symphony, an inclusive orchestra comprising talented musicians with and without special needs, will perform the famed and ubiquitous Rondo Alla Turca jointly with the NAFA Wind Ensemble in a unique arrangement.
Donald Law, a prize-winner of several national and international piano competitions and a KNS Classical Artist with a solo album under the label, will then present the Piano Sonata in A, K331.
The concert will close with a rendition of the Piano Concerto No. 25 in C major, KV 503, in a wind ensemble with piano soloist setting. Arranged by Wong Chee Yean, this rendition of the concerto showcases the individual colours of the wind instruments, beautifully immersing in the virtuosic passages of the piano part, performed by Donald Law.
