Inspired by love songs from different generations that the family grew up with, the Ho Ho Ho’s present an eclectic mix of classic love tunes. These tunes represent the journey of love—from initial longing, to challenges and to celebrating moments of joy. With a unique instrumentation of flutes, trombone and piano, the Ho Ho Ho’s will perform an arrangement of pieces ranging from classical to pop such as Salut d’AmourPersecuciónCan’t Help Falling in Love and Just the Way You Are.

Trombonist Vincent and flautist/pianist Mei Ho first met at National Theatre Symphonic Band (now Singapore Wind Symphony), where Vincent managed to slide into Mei’s DMs (or at that time, her good books). Their love for music spread to their daughter, Rachel Ho, who is a professional modern and baroque flautist, and pedagogue currently teaching at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. As a family, they have performed together in Singapore Wind Symphony as well as the Handbells Ministry and Orchestra at International Baptist Church. During the pandemic, they also produced several family jam videos including a medley of popular Singaporean and Christmas tunes on social media, in hopes of spreading the joy of music during difficult times.
