The Lia Trio come together to present an evening of tunes from Robert Schumann, Paul Schoenfield and Astor Piazzolla. Join the three classically trained musicians who share a common belief that music should always be fun and accessible.
Born out of friendship and a shared love for music, Lía Trio was formed in 2020. Classically trained musicians, Lía Trio was named after the first name of each member, with Lingzhi on clarinet, I-Shyan on cello, and Alexis on piano. With the belief that music should be fun and accessible, the group’s quarterly house concerts feature interesting selections from a wide-ranging repertoire, so audiences always enjoy fresh picks. Going beyond the typical clarinet, cello and piano repertoire, the group regularly explores music written for violin, cello and piano.
