The annual Orchestra Camp provides a platform for like-minded young musicians to come together in a week of music-making. First started in 2011 as a combined schools string camp, it has since evolved into an intensive orchestra training programme where young musicians explore symphonic repertoire with guidance from professional orchestral performers and Orchestra of the Music Makers (OMM)’s principal players.
This year’s camp will be led by Conductor Francis Tan, and feature Yong Siew Toh (YST) Concerto Competition winners Viona Sanjaya and Cheryl Pandora as soloists. Let the Camp Orchestra share their fruits of labour with you, as this showcase concert marks the end of their intensive 10-day rehearsal period!
