Victoria Concert Hall, 8.15pm
The Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra (ACSO) is finally back in full force! During the past 2 years, ACSO has remained very active, providing our musicians with multiple platforms to still perform and constantly create new works that aim to promote our Singaporean multi-cultural aspect of music. Now that we are able to come back in larger and fuller settings, we hope to use this opportunity to celebrate a little milestone of ours, our 5th anniversary, with the hope for many years to come thereafter.
In this celebratory concert, the musicians of ACSO will reunite back on stage to perform notable and newly commissioned concertos by our acclaimed local composers. Joining us will be some of Singapore’s celebrated instrumentalists, such as Govin Tan (Tabla), Ralph Emmanuel Lim (Clarinet), Yvonne Tay (Guzheng), Niranjan Pandian (Bansuri), Jacky Ng (Suona) and Azrin Abdullah (Oud). Singapore’s 2021 Cultural Medallion recipient Rahimah Rahim will also return to serenade with the ACSO once again.
