Esplanade Concourse, 6.45pm & 7.45pm
30 mins (each set)
Charity Kiew, Patcharaphan Khumprakob, and Rachel Ho bring French Romanticism to the Esplanade Concourse as they present two beloved trios. Get to hear the delicate sounds of the harp weave in and out of the earthy yet soulful tones of the viola, as the flute dances delightedly above them. It will truly be a treat for one and all!
C. Debussy: Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp L.137
J. Ibert: Deux Interludes
Charity Kiew (harp), Patcharaphan Khumprakob (viola) and Rachel Ho (flute) met while they were students at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. They now maintain an active teaching and performance schedule because they find tremendous meaning in sharing the joys of music, as well as the wonders of learning music. Charity is on the music faculty at School of the Arts Singapore, Rachel teaches at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, and Patcharaphan is a violin/viola teacher at Wolfgang Violin Studio.
