Tickets: $9 (Fully vaccinated audience does not need PET)
In light of the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions and gradual resumption of normalcy, these youthful and exhilarating student musicians excitedly step into this long-waited opportunity of resuming band activities and reviving the joy of music making. Grouped into four bands, these budding youths have prepared a line-up of classics and new music to express their joy and newfound friendship while making music together.
Join us to experience the joy from these youths playing music from around the world, including works by our Singaporean composers Terrence Wong and Benjamin Yeo.
Presented by Wind Bands Association of Singapore (WBAS), the concert marks the end of the WBAS Youth Band Festival 2021 from 15 to 19 December.
Opened to fully vaccinated musicians who play a wind band instrument aged between 12 to 25 years old, successfully auditioned participants attend a 4 days long festival that includes sectionals, combined band rehearsals and workshops stewarded by professional tutors.
