Microsoft has announced that it has recently teamed up with Sibelius, one of the world’s best-selling music composition software, to bring its app to the award-winning Surface tablet.

It further stated that making notes in Sibelius with Surface Pen will feel like writing down one’s thoughts with a real pen on manuscript paper. The new Annotate mode allows users to write and draw all over the score, and jot down reminders about music changes. On top of the features, one can also add and edit notes with a tap of the Surface Pen, or play music in real time using the on-screen keyboard and fretboard.

What other better way can it be for a composer to pen his music onto a digitized platform than the new Sibelius application for Microsoft Surface 3?
